Philosophy of Rain

Just like sheltering from the rain.

ABOUT US

Nagoya, Kakuozan. A hideaway with an unlisted address.
Here, there is no need for adorned words or forced conversation.
Just drop the burden of the outside world, inhale slowly, and exhale.
This is a place to regain that “natural state” once again.

Just like sheltering from the rain.

Philosophy

Clarity, like after the rain.

APRÈS LA PLUIE

The air after the rain is clear because the dust and heat of the atmosphere have been washed away with the raindrops.
What we offer here is a quiet “subtraction” to regain that clarity.

Scent travels faster than thought, reaching the depths of the mind directly.
That is why a scent that is too strong can sometimes become noise.
At La Pluie, we use our unique index, “Quiet Level,” to assess the capacity of your senses.
We tune the density and distance to match your mind and body today.
Not to startle your senses, but to quietly fulfill them.

Origin

Origin of the Name

ATELIER LA PLUIE

“La Pluie” means “The Rain” in French.
Just as there is heavy rain and silent rain, and no two rains are ever the same,
our minds and bodies are completely different from yesterday to today.

We affirm those fluctuations that are hard to put into words,
and quietly search for the “scent” that perfectly overlaps with you.
Scent design and Aromatherapy.
This is a place of shelter for that very purpose.
