そう言って、遊びにきた先生がくれたワイン。
南アフリカのソーヴィニヨン・ブラン。自然モチーフのエチケットが素敵なワイン。
南アフリカはシュナン・ブランのイメージが強くて、ソーヴィニヨン・ブランはあまり飲んだことがない気がする。どんな香りだろう。ロワールのような作りだろうか。
ワインショップでソムリエの方と選んでくれたようだ。その気遣いがありがたい。
はじまりや別れ、人生の節目にはワインを贈ったり贈られたりすることが多い。1本のボトルに流れるテロワール。その時間や願いに、自分の想いをのせて贈ることができるから。
個人的に、ワインを頂いたり、贈ったりする機会があるのは、何かが巡ったり、動いたりしているサインのように感じている。最近、刺激になる出会いが続いている。そして、多分それは、自分が向かっている先は間違っていないというサインでもある気がする。
改めて、刺激をもらった１日だった。

“A gift from a mentor who stopped by our shelter. A South African Sauvignon Blanc, adorned with a label that whispers of the natural world. While South Africa often calls to mind the depth of Chenin Blanc, this Sauvignon Blanc feels like an unlisted chapter. I find myself wondering about its sillage—will it possess the crisp clarity of the Loire?
To know it was selected alongside a sommelier makes the gesture feel even more intimate. We often exchange wine at life’s thresholds, for a bottle holds more than just spirits; it carries the slow-drifting time of the terroir and the weight of a silent wish.
To give or receive wine is, for me, a sign of a shifting tide. Lately, the air has been filled with encounters that stir the soul. Perhaps these are quiet affirmations that my compass is set true. Another day of profound resonance.”

“C’est un vin que mon professeur m’a offert en venant me voir. Un Sauvignon Blanc d’Afrique du Sud, avec une très belle étiquette au motif naturel. L’Afrique du Sud m’évoque plutôt le Chenin Blanc, je pense n’avoir jamais vraiment goûté leur Sauvignon Blanc. Quel parfum aura-t-il ? Sera-ce un style proche de la Loire ?
Il semble qu’il ait été choisi avec un sommelier dans une cave. Je suis touchée par cette attention. On offre souvent du vin pour les grands moments de la vie, les départs ou les nouveaux, car on peut déposer ses sentiments dans le temps du terroir qui coule dans une bouteille.
Personnellement, je sens que recevoir ou offrir du vin est le signe que quelque chose circule ou bouge. En ce moment, les rencontres stimulantes s’enchaînent. C’est peut-être le signe que je ne me trompe pas de chemin. Une journée riche en inspirations.”
